Aubren has announced the introduction of its DAQS brand of precision air handling systems into Africa as an extension of the successful Voltas SUNWIND range. Targeted at public and private medical facility clients, the systems will be manufactured and supplied for Voltas Technologies, a leading South African provider of innovative integrated solutions for commercial HVAC projects. The announcement was made during the Enterprise Ireland trade mission to South Africa led by Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charlie Flanagan T.D.

By entering the African market in partnership with Voltas Technologies and extending the established SUNWIND range, Aubren is confident that they will be able to deploy their solutions across 200 – 300 Medical infrastructure sites in the region, representing a value of between €3 million (ZAR 40 million) to €5 million (ZAR 65 million) during the next four years.

Welcoming the agreement Minister Flanagan said: “Aubren has built up a reputation for excellence in innovative medical technologies from its base in Portlaoise, Ireland. This agreement with Voltas Technologies will facilitate access for Aubren to a fast growing region with an excellent local partner, and is good for the growth of jobs both in Ireland and South Africa.  This very positive development confirms the significance of opportunities for ambitious Irish companies wishing to do business in this growing market.”
