Aubren have added Creo Flow Analysis CFD to our design capabilities. Computational fluid dynamics allows us to simulate turbulent fluid dynamics, solid interactions and heat transfer. Simulation of fluid flow allows Aubren make informed geometry decisions early in the design process reducing the need for additional prototypes. This means that prototypes tested in our fan performance wind tunnel have already been optimised for air flow and will achieve the expected results.

Project Description

Inga Kratauskaite, who has recently joined Aubren engineering department team, has been introduced into the company through a 24 month GradStart Programme which is being co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Enterprise Ireland under the Border, Midland and Western Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.

Project Aim

To recruit a graduate who will bring their talent and skills that are critical to future growth and development of the company.

The visit included a trade reception at the residence of the Irish Ambassador to Egypt, Sean O’Regan. It was an honour to take part in the efforts to strengthen bilateral trading relationship between Ireland and Egypt.

Aubren, specialist contract manufacturer in the design, manufacture and delivery of air management products announces that they have successfully certified to the new ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.

ISO 9001:2015 is an update of ISO 9001:2008 that specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving a quality management systems.

ISO 14001:2015 international standard provides requirements for organisations to develop an integrated, structured approach in setting and achieving environmental policies and objectives with the goal of supporting the protection of the environment, prevention of pollution and compliance with regulatory requirements.

OHSAS 18001:2007 sets out the minimum requirements for a best practice occupational health and safety management system – helping organizations manage and control risks, and continuously improve performance.

FeatureAubren, a manufacturer of innovative cooling products, are proud to announce a distribution agreement with Al-Babtain Power & Telecommunication, an international company which is engaged in providing turnkey solutions for telecoms, broadcast, defence, security and other integrated networks across various countries namely KSA, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan and Yemen. Welcoming the announcement Minister Flanagan said: “As Enterprise Ireland’s trade mission will demonstrate, the opportunities for innovative Irish companies to build partnerships and increase their sales to the Middle East region are real and tangible. Aubren is a great example of what is possible for Irish companies in this dynamic market, and I wish them continued success for the future”.

According to Aubrey Nuzum, Managing Director at Aubren, “We are continually looking to expand our market reach and this agreement with Al-Babtain, a highly respected solutions provider, gives us access to the huge potential offered in the KSA market.  The agreement allows us to move forward together on a number of ongoing activities with mobile network operators in KSA who are determined to reduce their OPEX costs. The idea that free cooling can’t be used in climates with high ambient temperatures is a myth. Recent changes to ASHRAE guidelines allow equipment to operate at higher temperature and humidity conditions and our solutions can provide up to 35% reduction in energy usage, whilst increasing the life of existing cooling equipment”.

“Al-Babtain is particularly excited to bring the Aubren cooling solutions to the KSA market where there is becoming a sharp focus on initiatives to reduce the energy consumption across the mobile telephone networks and several of our key clients have already undertaken to carry out detailed trials with the technology” said Fares Hamdan, Business Development Manager, Al-Babtain LeBLANC.

Kevin Sherry, Executive Director Global Business Development at Enterprise Ireland said: “Irish companies, with Enterprise Ireland assistance, have been hugely successful in growing their exports to the GCC member states. Last year, exports of Enterprise Ireland backed companies to the region increased by 12% to over €507m. Aubren’s agreement with Al-Babtain demonstrates the clear opportunities that exist for innovative and ambitious Irish companies in the region. Enterprise Ireland’s teams in Ireland and the Middle East will continue to work closely with Aubren as they scale their business in this important market”.
