Aubren limited is delighted to welcome our new business graduate Zainab. Zainab is a Master’s graduate in Management and Marketing from the University College Cork.  Zainab has previously been involved in manufacturing. After completing her Master’s degree, she was part a small start-up manufacturing team working as a sales and marketing assistant.  At Aubren, Zainab joins the commercial team responsible for business development for Aubren and its branded products in international markets.  We look forward to the positive contribution Zainab will make to Aubren and wish her good luck in her new position.

Aubren Limited’s Graduate hire is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Enterprise Ireland under the Border, Midland and Western Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020. The programme aims to recruit a graduate who will bring skills into the company that are critical to future growth and results in improvements in company productivity and changes in output to meet defined market requirements.

Aubren Limited welcomes its latest recruit Michael. Michael joins the logistics team as a transport coordinator where he is responsible for inbound and outbound logistics for Aubren. Michael possess over 25 years experience in the service industry. Before Joining Aubren, Michael was a self-employed service engineer and a domestic appliance engineer for a major kitchen appliance manufacturer.

Speaking about Michael’s appointment, Tricia Cahill, Aubren’s Materials Director said. “We are expanding in order to continue to supply high quality logistics services to our increasing customer base. With Michael, we can enhance our ability to provide our customers with a more flexible and efficient outbound logistics service, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in proper condition. This allows our customers to focus more on other key aspects of their business”.

Aubrey Nuzum, Managing Director of Aubren Limited has been named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Laois Business Awards 2017. The award is given in recognition of Aubrey’s hard work and pioneering approach to making Aubren Limited an important exporter and employer within the region.

“I was genuinely surprised to have won but it is a great honour to be chosen and all credit must go to the entire Aubren team.  It is vital that we recognise businesses that support and add opportunities to the region as it inspires other entrepreneurs to go out and establish their dreams” said Aubrey.

Aubrey previously served as Managing Director of the Irish subsidiary of German owned ebm-past for 10 years before buying out the facility and establishing Aubren Limited in 2010. Since then, the company has grown from strength to strength with recorded 30% growth last year and similar forecast for 2017. The company currently employs 53 people in Portlaoise with plans to create 32 further jobs in the next 18 months.

Aubrey was one of 28 nominees short-listed for the Laois Business Awards which was hosted by RTÉ broadcaster Marty Whelan in Portlaoise on the 28th of April 2017.

The Laois Business Awards 2017 is designed to celebrate the success of businesses in County Laois as well as to showcase the excellence in different business areas. These vary from customer service and innovation to the contribution business makes to the wider community. The nominees range from the very small one person business operations through to the large companies that make up the Laois business community.

Irish company Aubren has announced the introduction of its DAQS brand of precision air handling systems into Oman through local partner Spears International LLC. Targeted at public and private medical facility clients, the systems will be manufactured and supplied for Spears International LLC, a leading Omani provider of innovative solutions for hospital projects. The announcement was made during the Enterprise Ireland trade mission to Oman led by The Irish Ambassador to Oman, His Excellency Mr. Tony Cotter.

By entering the Oman market in partnership with Spears, Aubren DAQS is confident that it will be able to deploy their solutions across 20 – 50 Medical infrastructure sites in the region, representing a value of between €1 million (OMR 4 million) to €2 million (OMR 8 million) during the next four years.

Aubren DAQS is dedicated to the design and manufacture of innovative, highly energy efficient precision air quality systems, thermal management systems, indoor air quality and environmental solutions for use in Healthcare, IT and Telecom applications. The Company has worked extensively with Spears to carefully localize the DAQS products to meet the commercial and technical needs of Middle East markets.

The Aubren DAQS range of medical air handling units are uniquely compact, typically occupying 30% or less of the floor space of competitor products. This makes the products ideal for retrofit applications where space is at a premium. For new builds, more space is available for people rather than for plant and equipment.

This unique relationship between Aubren and Spears International will link the air handling design and product development skills of Aubren with the market awareness and extensive health facilities know-how of Spears International, leading to the launch of further new and innovative products for Middle East markets.

As a result of the partnership with Spears International, Aubren expects to increase international staff members by around 50 percent, with some of those based permanently in the Middle East. The company also has international outlets in Paris, Algiers, Casablanca, Johannesburg, Lagos, Riyadh and Dubai.
